This Privacy Policy describes how Gotcha Matcha ("we," "our," or "us") handles information when you use the Gotcha Matcha iOS app and related website at gotcha.otterspark.xyz.

1. Information You Create in the App

Gotcha Matcha lets you create entries that can include notes, photos, dates, ratings, price and calories, category details, and optional location information (such as a place name and coordinates).

2. Storage and Sync

Your content is stored on your device by default. If cloud or account-linked features are enabled in the app, data required for those features may be processed by our service providers.

3. Analytics

We use PostHog for product analytics to understand app usage and improve the product. We configure analytics to avoid sending sensitive entry content fields such as note text, location text, and image data.

4. Purchases and Subscriptions

We use RevenueCat to manage subscription status and purchase entitlements. All payments are processed by Apple through your App Store account. We do not directly process your payment card data.

5. Data Retention

Data stored locally remains on your device until you delete it, remove the app, or reset your device/app data. Service-provider records are retained only as needed to operate subscriptions, analytics, and legal obligations.

6. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your region, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal data. You can manage much of your data directly in the app. For additional requests, contact us using the email below.

7. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards. However, no method of transmission or storage is guaranteed to be completely secure.
